Republic F-84F Thunderstreak an 84 page book on the Republic F-84F Thunderstreak. With almost 3,500 built, the Thunderstreak was the first fighter-bomber to be equipped with swept wings and saw action with 12 countries around the world. Contrary to many of its contemporaries, the F-84F remained in service for a long time; with the first ones becoming operational in 1954, the last were taken out of service in the 1980s. This book shows every detail of the jet, from the air intake, to the fuselage, wings, speed brakes and landing gear.
