The F-4G is a SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defence) aircraft, the successor to the F-105G, that uses various sensors such as the AN/APR-38 to locate enemy SAM (surface-to-air missile) site tracking/guidance radar or radar waves fired from radar sites and their locations, and then attacks with anti-radar missiles such as the AGM-45, AGM-78, and AGM-88. It is called the "Wild Weasel" because of its resemblance to a weasel crawling on the ground in search of prey. This kit beautifully replicates the "F-4G," which is said to be the most successful Wild Weasel.
