Wiking Lloyd LT 500 Bus Pastel Blue 1952-61 WK033601 HO Gauge

Lloyd LT 500 Bus Pastel Blue 1952-61

The Lloyd LT 500 minibus stands as a testament to the simplicity and functionality of early post-war public transport. Launched shortly after the currency reform, this model prioritised movement over luxury, reflecting the modest interiors of its era. WIKING presents the Lloyd LT 500 with precise detailing from new moulds, perfectly replicating the glazed minibus of the 1950s. Originally produced between 1952 and 1955, the Lloyd LT 500 featured a two-cylinder, two-stroke 386 cm³ engine delivering 13 hp. This was later succeeded by the Lloyd LT 600, equipped with a two-cylinder, four-stroke 596 cm³ engine producing 19 hp. Before Borgward's bankruptcy in 1961, a total of 9,900 Lloyd LT 500s and 14,768 LT 600s were manufactured, making the Lloyd minibus a notable part of post-war transport history. WIKING’s model completes the comprehensive range of vehicles from this influential decade.

  • Body in pastel blue with roof and bonnet in light ivory
  • Interior in agate grey with a light ivory steering wheel
  • Transparent headlamp inserts
