The T 478.4, an evolution of the earlier T 478.3, featured a more powerful engine and an electric train heating system, enhancing its performance for passenger and freight services. In 1988, the series was redesignated as Class 754. Locomotive 754 083 was delivered to the CSD in May 1980 as T 478.4083 and, following the fleet division on 1 January 1993, became one of the 26 locomotives transferred to the ZSR. This model captures the distinctive design, engineering innovation, and historical significance of one of Czechoslovakia’s most recognised diesel locomotives.
