Designed on the well-established EuroCity carriage concept, each driving trailer provides 62 seats and incorporates a range of practical passenger facilities, including dedicated spaces for wheelchairs, strollers, and bicycles. The vehicles are also equipped with a closed toilet system featuring a bioreactor for improved environmental performance. Externally, the cab and front profile closely mirror the styling of the Re 460 locomotives, creating a consistent and unified appearance across SBB’s modern long-distance fleet.
