Alpha Trains is the leading lessor of rail vehicles in Europe. The company owns more than 950 locomotives and multiple units. In November 2022, Alpha Trains ordered 15 additional Vectron locomotives. The new Vectron MS and AC locomotives, with a maximum output of 6.4 megawatts and a top speed of 200 km/h, complement the existing Alpha Trains fleet. The locomotives are used on routes between Germany, Austria and Italy, among others.
