OBB Rh1293 069-1 Electric Locomotive VI (~AC-Sound)

In January 2017, the Austrian Federal Railways concluded a framework agreement with Siemens for a total of 200 new Vectron multi-system locomotives. The locomotives are planned to be used in more than ten countries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe as well as in Germany and Italy. Several delivery series have so far been handed over to the ÖBB under the series designation 1293. The locomotives of the 1st and 2nd delivery series are equipped with the country package for Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia and Slovenia.
