Details
The WR 360 C 14 diesel locomotives were originally introduced by the German Wehrmacht for use at strategically important locations. Locomotive No. 1 was later reproduced by Maschinenbau Kiel (MaK) in 1948. From 1948 until 1972, the Hanover Regional Post Office operated its own fleet of locomotives, working both within the postal station and at the neighbouring DB stations. In total, four locomotives were in service, numbered 1 to 4. Known for their reliability and robust design, these locomotives hold a significant place in railway history and remain of great interest to enthusiasts and collectors.
