The PIKO H0 SNCF Era VI articulated tank wagon set “Algeco” comprises two faithful replicas of modern French tankers. Each model includes a brakeman’s platform, freestanding ladders and platform, and highly detailed articulated tank sections. Measuring approximately 190 mm over buffers, the set runs smoothly on curves down to a minimum radius of 358 mm. Equipped with detailed bogies, DC compatibility, NEM coupling pockets and short-coupling mechanism, the models offer excellent rolling characteristics. A 2025 novelty release, this SNCF set brings both prototype accuracy and operational performance to contemporary continental freight layouts.
