The Trans Europ Express (TEE) “Rheinpfeil” was one of the most prestigious international express trains operated by the German Federal Railway (DB) during the golden age of European rail travel. Designed for first-class luxury, the train connected major cities across Western Europe with speed, comfort, and style. In the summer of 1971, its formation included a distinctive and elegant combination of coaches, each representing the finest in German rail engineering and design.
