The Märklin Start up “Farming” Starter Set (Article No. 29653) offers an engaging introduction to H0-scale digital railroading, perfect for newcomers and younger enthusiasts. It features a powerful Henschel DHG 240 diesel switcher with one powered axle, traction tyres, flywheel motor and triple-directional LED headlights, controlled via an mfx digital decoder. The included freight comprises a four-axle low-side car loaded with miniature farm machinery and a tank wagon—each fitted with Relex couplers.

The set includes an oval C-Track layout with twelve curved (24130), four straight (24172), one long straight (24188), one curved (24224), one left turnout (24611) and a buffer stop (24977), forming an area of approximately 130 × 76 cm . Also provided are a base station, switched-mode power supply, wireless infrared ‘Power Control Stick’, and two AAA batteries.

With a total train length of 390 mm (15? in), this starter pack is compact yet rich in features. It supports expansion through C-Track extensions and the optional 74492 electric turnout drive.
