The N700S Shinkansen is the main vehicle on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines. The N700S Shinkansen began operating between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka in July 2020, and is currently operating on all sections of the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines. It is called "Supreme," meaning the best Shinkansen in the N700 series, and incorporates a variety of the latest technologies.
