Kato JR Series 24 Sleeper Express Orone/Orahane 25 Coach Set K3-531 HO Gauge
The 24 Series Sleeper Express "Hokutosei" was introduced in 1988 to coincide with the opening of the Seikan Tunnel connecting Honshu and Hokkaido as a sleeper express train running between Ueno and Sapporo. It was well received for its hotel-like service, and at its peak, three round trips were operated.
