Kato JR N700S Shinkansen Nozomi 8 Car Add on Set B K10-1699 N Gauge
The N700S Shinkansen is a vehicle developed as the standard vehicle for the next-generation Shinkansen of JR Central, and started operation between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka in July 2020. It is called 'Supreme', which means the best Shinkansen train in the N700 series, and it will be the first fully remodeled train in 13 years for the Tokaido Shinkansen. Compared to the latest model N700A, the stability, safety, comfort, and convenience have been further improved, the braking distance in the event of an earthquake has been shortened, snow accretion prevention measures have been strengthened, and the battery itself in the event of an abnormality. The distinctive front shape, called the dual supreme wing, with the edges on both sides of the car body, the design around the lights, and the symbol mark on the side based on gold are accurately reproduced. In addition, KATO's original body tilting mechanism is installed to realistically reproduce the body tilting inward like the actual car. The N700S Shinkansen 'Nozomi' JR Tokai affiliation organization has an affordable basic set (K10-1697)/ extension set A (K10-1698)/extension set B (K10-1699), as well as a starter set (K10-007). In addition, the specially planned 16-car full train (K10-1742) is the 3000 series train belonging to JR West, and started commercial operation from the revision in March 2021. It has the same form as the JR Tokai affiliation organization, but features the JR mark with different colours in addition to the car number.
