Herpa Wings Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II Japanese ASDF (1:200) HA573597
The 302nd Fighter Squadron was established on 1 October 1974 and originally equipped with the F-4 Phantom. After 45 years of service with the iconic jet, the squadron transitioned to the state-of-the-art F-35 in 2019. To mark its 50th anniversary, a special F-35 has been unveiled in a striking commemorative livery. Unlike standard low-visibility paint schemes typical of the F-35, this unique design features vibrant colours, including the squadron’s original eagle emblem in bold blue, white, and red. The stylised white-tailed eagle cleverly incorporates a hidden reference to the squadron’s designation: three feathers for '3', a tail shaped like a '0', and two visible legs to form '2'.
Features:- Commemorative 50th anniversary livery of the 302nd Fighter Squadron
- Based on the advanced F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter
- Colourful scheme featuring original blue, white, and red eagle emblem
