A total of 105 locomotives were produced, numbered 23 001ā23 105, reaching speeds of up to 110 km/h. Today, the Class 23 is a favourite among model railway enthusiasts, celebrated for its elegant lines, historical significance, and excellent representation in 1:87 and larger scales.
