In July 2022, the Swiss company SBB Cargo International AG, in cooperation with SüdLeasing GmbH, ordered 20 Vectron multi-system locomotives including the XLoad equipment package from Siemens Mobility. Vectron XLoad is an equipment package to improve the utilization of the friction coefficient with the aim of transporting increased trailer loads.
