DB BR218 144-4 Diesel Locomotive IV (DCC-Sound)

In order to make branch lines more attractive, the German Federal Railway introduced the new "CityBahn" train type in local transport in 1984. For this purpose, 25 n-cars (silver cars) were prepared with modern interior fittings and also painted pure orange/pebble gray. Ten locomotives of the 218 series also received this striking colour scheme.
