DB BR112 172-2 Electric Locomotive IV (DCC-Sound)

From 1992, the improved series 112.1 was purchased jointly by DB and DR. The most noticeable change to the BR 112.0 is the combination of the large headlights and tail lights into small combined halogen lamps. The express train locomotives with an output of 4,000 kW and a top speed of 160 km/h are used throughout Germany on Intercity, Regional Express and special passenger trains.
