Corgi AA28804 Bristol F-2B Fighter A6/C4636 DEVIL-IN-THE-DUSK 1:48 Diecast Model

ļø Bristol F.2B Fighter – ā€˜Devil-in-the-Dusk’

1:48 Scale Diecast Model | AA28804
WWI – Night Fighter Livery

The Story:
The Bristol F.2B Fighter – affectionately known as the ā€œBrisfitā€ – was one of the most capable and successful two-seat aircraft of the First World War. Despite being a reconnaissance fighter, it could hold its own against single-seat enemy aircraft, and was revered for its strength and agility.
This particular aircraft, C4636 'Devil-in-the-Dusk' of No. 39 Squadron, operated from North Weald, Essex, and was involved in one of the earliest night interceptions over London — successfully downing a Gotha bomber over East Ham in May 1918.

Key Features:

  • First night fighter scheme ever released on this tooling

  • Authentic WWI markings and dark ā€œduskā€ camouflage

  • Intricately detailed 1:48 scale diecast construction

  • Displays the transition from day to night air operations

Why You’ll Love It:
This is a standout piece for WWI aviation collectors — not only for its historic role in Britain's early air defence, but also for its striking and unique night-fighter livery. A brilliant companion to other Great War biplanes and a visually bold addition to any display.
